The IMI SafeSciMET presents a new and unique university-accredited pan-European Education and Training Master’s Programme in Safety Sciences for Medicines. The courses of the programme can also be “picked and mixed” in building a personal continuing professional development (CPD) programme.
Courses
- Are given by an academic network, consisting of top institutions for drug safety education and research and is funded by the Innovative Medicines Initiative Joint Undertaking (IMI JU).
- Fulfil urgent needs in big and small pharmaceutical companies, regulatory authorities, academic institutes and health care.
- Are tailor-made encompassing safety, ethical, regulatory and societal aspects in all phases of medicines development.
- Emphasise holistic, integrative, translational and 3Rs aspects of drug safety assessment.
- Make up the full programme, which together with an integrative MSc-thesis, lead to the accredited Master of Advanced Safety Sciences of Medicines (MAS2M).
- Provide an excellent opportunity for Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
- Are aligned with the Bologna process for academic education and training in Europe.
