SafeSciMET will hold a Steering Committee Meeting on September 10-11 2010 in Basel, the first since the official launch of the project on January 1 2010.

The meeting will assemble the scientific Representatives of the Consortium Participants; it will also be open to course teachers to get first-hand information on the status and achievements in the project.

As the ultimate decision body on scientific matters in the consortium the Steering Committee members will be able to give directions on the way forward in areas critical for the success of SafeSciMET.

The agenda of the meeting is in preparation and will be distributed by the end of July to all Participants together with additional details on the meeting location.
